Dr. Phill Tabb is a Professor of Architecture at Texas A&M. He created the master plan for the wellness community Serenbe. His publications include Biophilic Urbanism: Designing Resilient Communities For the Future published by Rutledge, Solar Energy Planning published by McGraw-Hill, The Greening of Architecture: A Critical History and Survey of Contemporary Sustainable Architecture and Urban Design, Serene Urbanism: A Biophilic Theory and Practice of Sustainable Placemaking and Coedited Architecture, Culture and Spirituality published by Ashgate.
Phill teaches studio design, sustainable architecture, and the theory of placemaking, and he is a practicing urban designer and licensed architect. He has been a long-time member of the American Institute of Architects and holds a NCARB certificate.
Phill lives in Serenbe where various galleries have exhibited his watercolors, sketches and architectural drawings.
